Our Story
Over 75 years ago, the legacy of aviation in the local area began.
Since then, the story has grown to include several major aviation manufacturers, multiple active and reserve military installations, thousands of veterans, hundreds of thousands of individual stories, and immeasurable impact all around us.
The purpose of the Aviation History & Technology Center is to honor local aviation and military history through education, preservation, and events. The Aviation & History Technology Center is developing as a premier experience capable of demonstrating the importance of history, aviation, S.T.E.M., and military appreciation to a 21st century audience and beyond.
