This hybrid course consists of an online learning portion and guided tour of our facility's 15 military and civilian aircraft to reinforce learning objectives.
Cost : $20.00, including the scout’s admission to the museum.
- Parents and siblings are welcome and encouraged to accompany their scout for normal museum admission charges. For more info, click HERE.
- Classes are limited to 20 scouts per session so that each scout receives adequate attention and ensures they have the opportunity to pass the requirements needed to earn this merit badge.

Presented Monthly
The Aviation Merit Badge workshop is offered monthly, on Saturdays, April through October.
- Registration closes 15 days before the museum visit date to give scouts ample time to complete the online portion.
- Scouts receive emailed invitations to access the online classroom 2 weeks before the registered Saturday museum visit.
- The online classroom and assignments takes approximately 6-12 hours and all assignments must be completed prior to the museum visit.
- The museum visit for the merit badge begins promptly at 9:00 AM. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure there is time for you to check-in and have your completed assignments reviewed. The session will last approximately 2-2.5 hours.
After registration and payment, you will be emailed instructions approximately 3 weeks prior to the workshop date to coordinate access to the online classroom.
- If registering multiple scouts for a session, you will need to register them individually and provide separate emails for each participating scout.
- Please be sure to note your preferred registration date since changes to the enrollment list are difficult and at the discretion of the workshop coordinators.
AHTC will provide digital Blue Cards following the class.

All major credit cards are accepted. Payment is for the scout participating in the merit badge. Parents and additional siblings can accompany the Scout during the tour, but will be charged our standard admissions at the time of check-in.
If you do not complete the payment, you will not be considered registered.
